Under $250,000
This range is mostly older, smaller homes, like the 1940s and 1950s houses in Lincoln Park, plus homes that could use updating. It's also where the newest entry-level construction starts. As of September 25, 2026, D.R. Horton listed Clark Creek Landing from about $237K, including townhomes. Expect competition on anything move-in ready.
$250,000 to $350,000
This is where Lincolnton's median sale price sits (about $320K for Jun–Aug 2026), so it's the busiest range. Expect three- and four-bedroom resale homes from the 1970s through the 2010s, plus new construction at Clark Creek Landing and at Century Communities' Carpenter Farms, which starts around $330K. In Stanley, Profile Homes advertises Autumn Brook townhomes from the $200s.
$350,000 to $500,000
Bigger homes, newer homes and bigger lots. True Homes' Huntington Hills starts around $380K. Nearby, Meritage Homes lists Harper Landing in Stanley from about $371K, and new infill homes in Iron Station's Planters Ridge were listed around $440K in September 2026.
$500,000 to $750,000
Larger homes, often on an acre or more, restored historic homes near downtown, and newer homes on the Lake Norman side of the county. Eastwood Homes advertises Carrington, with a Stanley address, from the low $500s.
$750,000 and up
Mostly the higher-end neighborhoods in the eastern part of the county. Iron Station's Victoria Creek has had a median sale price around $755K, Treetops at Cowans Ford near Lake Norman has run higher, and custom homes in gated Pinnacle Ridge go well into the millions. Large properties with land come up too.
